As a joint project between SYFY and Netflix, Nightflyers is a psychological thriller TV series based on George R.R. Martin’s novel of the same name - a classic of sci-fi literature. For Territory Studio, I worked on the concept design for the fictional UI of the vast colonizing ship on which the whole story is set.

The concept developed from the idea of the spaceship as a character. The vehicle, in fact, needed to show a technological interface its passengers needed to interact with, with unexpected consequences. This meant the visual direction had to support plot points and help the story develop.
